Forestry Worker Required

The Bolton Abbey Estate in the Yorkshire Dales is seeking a Forestry Worker to join the

team, supporting the Forestry Manager and Team Leader in the delivery of high-quality

woodland management.

The position involves a variety of hands-on forestry operations, including:

• Tree planting, felling, thinning, fencing, walling, and bracken control

• Chainsaw work, tree surgery, and chipping

• Maintenance of forestry machinery, vehicles, and equipment

The Estate is looking for someone who:

• Is practical, reliable, and safety-conscious

• Enjoys working outdoors in all seasons

• Works well both independently and as part of a team

• Has a flexible approach to wider Estate duties such as firewood production and tractor

driving
