Part-Time Cleaner – Private Family Estate

Hours: 12 hours per week, over 2 days ([days to be confirmed])
Reports to: Housekeeper

The role

A private family estate in Hertfordshire is looking for a skilled, discreet cleaner to support the Housekeeper. You’ll help keep a formal, high-specification home running to an exceptional standard, working quietly and efficiently around the family’s daily life.

Key duties

• General cleaning across the main house, to the standard set by the Housekeeper
• Laundry, ironing and linen care, including delicate and high-value fabrics
• Caring for fine furnishings, surfaces and finishes with the right products and techniques
• Following set routines while adapting to the household’s schedule
• Reporting any maintenance issues or damage to the Housekeeper

About you

• Proven experience cleaning in a private household, estate or luxury setting
• Knows how to care for a high-spec home, including natural stone, antiques, polished wood and designer fabrics
• Discreet, trustworthy and professional, with complete respect for the family’s privacy
• Meticulous, with a keen eye for detail
• Reliable and punctual, and able to work well alongside the Housekeeper
• Comfortable with dogs
• References required
