Experienced Formal Gardener Required

We are seeking an experienced and skilled gardener to take responsibility for the care and maintenance of an established formal garden at a private property in Corbridge.

The role will focus on maintaining the gardens to a high standard, including precision hedge cutting, topiary, lawn care, pruning, seasonal borders and implementing an established planting plan.

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven gardening experience maintaining high-quality formal gardens or estates.

Excellent horticultural knowledge, ideally supported by relevant qualifications

The ability to follow and implement an established planting plan.

Experience operating and maintaining professional gardening machinery.

A reliable, conscientious and hardworking approach, with excellent attention to detail.

The ability to work independently, manage their workload and use their initiative.

The ability to arrange appropriate removal and disposal of garden waste.

A full UK driving licence.

Working arrangements: Full-time employment, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, or self-employed landscape gardening services considered.
