Estate & Rural Support Worker
A HANDS-ON OPPORTUNITY IN THE COUNTRYSIDE
WOODHALL ESTATE
We are looking for an energetic, practical and enthusiastic Estate & Rural Support Worker to join our busy rural team on our Hertfordshire estate.
This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or someone at the start of their career with a genuine interest in the countryside, gamekeeping and rural estate work.
THE ROLE
This is a varied and practical role supporting the rural team across a 7,000-acre estate. You will be involved in:
- Game and pheasant management
- Estate, parkland, garden and grounds maintenance
- Tree planting and woodland work
- General estate maintenance and practical tasks
- Supporting the wider rural team wherever required
ABOUT YOU
You will be hardworking, practical and reliable, with a positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in. You should be:
- A strong team player and self-starter
- Flexible and willing to work variable hours and early starts
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Keen to learn new skills
- Adaptable and happy to help across different areas of the Estate
A genuine interest in countryside, gamekeeping or estate work is an advantage.
Experience with tractors, agricultural machinery or mechanical work would be beneficial, but is not essential.
A full driving licence is essential.
