Job opportunity:

Wildlife Manager, full-time

Location: South-central England (M3, M4 corridor)

We are a small company with over 30 years experience delivering wildlife management services to a wide range of clients mainly across south Oxfordshire, north Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team who can deliver the high standards of professionalism and customer care our clients require and expect from us.

We are looking for a full-time person, but there will be flexibility over when the hours are worked. Much of our work is at night/early mornings and involves driving between client sites.

Duties will primarily involve wildlife control, including both shooting and trapping and deer management, including both park and wild herds. Itineraries are normally worked out a few days in advance with the managing director according to clients’ needs, but there can be changes at short notice depending on weather or to resolve urgent issues.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and reliable, able to work safely, independently and as part of a team. We need someone who understands how to look after clients and can

maintain our high standards of customer service. We are looking for someone ideally with several years’ professional background of wildlife management who can base themselves within our clients’ region. An FAC and clean driving licence are essential; DS2 or equivalent is desirable, and a good understanding of wildlife legislation as applied to wildlife control will also be needed. A good retrieving dog would be an advantage.
