Underkeeper - Ref 1439 Date: February 19, 2025

An excellent opportunity to join the team at this well-established & successful Estate where our aim is to provide top quality pheasant and partridge at all times and provide the best habitat possible for game birds to thrive.

The position will involve working closely with the Head Keeper and being able to communicate with other staff and all people linked to the Estate.

The role will include but is not limited to:

Essential experience required: 3 years in previous roles, SGC & FAC, full, clean driving licence.

Vermin control & deer management.

Maintenance of existing drives and pens along with creating new ones.

Safe handling of ATVs, UTVs, Tractor and chainsaws, strimmers etc (Chainsaw & ATV certificates an advantage).

Able to efficiently run a beating line and recruit beaters during the shooting season.

Must be able to work alone and as part of the wider Estate team.

Able to recognise illness or disease in birds and report and record promptly.
