JOB DESCRIPTION

Syre & North Loch Naver Estates are adjoining remote, upland, sporting estates located in Strathnaver, Sutherland. They include three of six rotating beats on the renowned River Naver which is one of the very best and private salmon rivers in the country. Extending to some 23,000 acres in total, with red deer stalking, numerous hill lochs, woodcock shooting and the impressive Syre Lodge at its heart, the Estates offer a unique sporting experience in stunning, unspoilt countryside. We are looking to recruit a Housekeeper. An experienced hands-on Housekeeper to run Syre Lodge (a large 10 bedroom property) and Dalvina, a self catering property. Whilst this is a full-time role you will be expected to work longer hours during the fishing season (usually March to September). The candidate will be dealing directly with guests and managing all aspects of their stay. You will also be required to oversee cooks and other seasonal staff. The position will include being responsible for organising maintenance and servicing of the property and all health and safety requirements. The candidate will be well organised, a team player and possess excellent communication skills.
