Gamekeeper/ Estate worker position at Tetworth Estate

Tetworth is a 2500-acre, family-owned estate situated on the picturesque Cambridgeshire / Bedfordshire borders. Renowned for its commitment to conservation and quality, the estate is managed by a small, friendly team dedicated to enhancing its beauty for the benefit of those who live and work here.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Gamekeeper to take responsibility for all gamekeeping duties and contribute to the smooth operation of the estate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about wildlife, conservation, and delivering exceptional private shoot days.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Rear pheasant and partridge poults to provide between 8 and 10 shoot days annually.

· Build and maintain pheasant and partridge pens.

· Perform vermin control within legal limits (excluding foxes).

· Manage deer populations effectively as required.

· Collaborate with the Estate Manager on game covers and woodland management.

· Support with executing the woodland management plan with ride clearing, coppicing and thinning of woodland

· Support the wider team with General estate work
