• 2 year fixed term (with possibility of extending) / Full time (40 hours per week)

We are seeking a Forestry Ranger to work as part of the forestry team, with a specific focus on squirrel and deer control to deliver effective woodland management across the Englefield Estate. The role is a hands-on, practical position carrying out squirrel and deer control and forestry management activities that enhance the economic, environmental and amenity contribution of the Estate’s woodlands. The Forestry Ranger will also collect, record and analyse squirrel and deer records across the Estate, working closely with gamekeepers and stalkers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to deliver environmental benefits by reducing the impacts of grey squirrels and deer across the Estate’s woodlands. The successful individual will need to have a broad knowledge of countryside management as well as practical experience in squirrel and deer control.
