Title: Estate Work - Under keeper

Employed by: Oteley Estate

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join the Oteley Team as an Underkeeper, working with the established gamekeeper, the estate owners and the wider team. The role also includes helping maintain the Estate grounds, conservation areas and woodland. Experience is desirable and the right candidate will be able to demonstrate their love of rural life, good communication skills, the ability to work both within a team and independently, as well as be able to interact with the general public.

Tasks will include:

· Gamekeeping

· Groundskeeping

· Woodland management

· Hedge planting and maintenance

· Fencing repair and maintenance

Requirements

· Full UK Driving License (Essential)

· Gamekeeping experience (Desirable)

· Experience of groundskeeping and maintenance (Desirable)

· Shotgun and FA Certificates (Essential)

· Forward thinking and self-motivated (Essential)
