The success candidate will join the existing team to help oversee and instruct our game keeping learners while they run our facilities. The role is wide ranging and would require the right candidate to assist the current staff and students with the running of our facilities including; gundog kennels, game larder, gamebird production facilities, land-based machinery, lowland shoot, deer stalking activities, firearms dealership and clay ground.  We have exceptional links with industry experts and regularly attend and host game keeping events ensuring our learners and staff are at the highest professional standard.  This is an exciting and rewarding post working closely with other passionate and hardworking colleagues and an exceptional group of learners who continue to develop their own skills and understanding, by following the example of all the staff at the college.  This is a full time post, with excellent pay and permanent role working 37 hours per week.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is part of a small multi trade team responsible for the cyclical, reactive and proactive maintenance for a range of property types across the Estate, including residential, agricultural and commercial buildings. You will also work closely with sub-contractors and main contractors over a wide range of projects, delivering high quality results on time and to budget. You will be highly motivated, organised and able to work as part of a team as well as on your own. You will be skilled, conscientious & friendly and be in good physical health, clean and hardworking. General Duties As an experienced multi-skilled General Builder, you will be undertaking a variety of work including groundworks, drainage, demolition, stripping out, metal stud, dry lining and plastering. Much of the work is in the refurbishing of residential property and experience of roofing, flooring and joinery installation (inc. doors & windows) & restoration is required.
